About the conference

 

Electronic waste is becoming an increasingly pressing problem in China with the surging of the sales of electronics. It is estimated that the country will produce more than 6 million tons of electronic discards in 2020. Among all kinds of wastes, e-waste is one of the most dangerous types. To dispose them correctly, special recycling technology and equipment are required. Thus, Chinese government is firmly determined to control this problem in a sustainable manner. Against this background, e-Waste World 2013 will be held on 20-21 March in Shanghai China.
